This piece, 60×60, is one of my favorites and was the beginning of a whole series of botanicals.
It’s hanging in Chicago with some of my best peeps! The acid yellow and deep dark chocolate is lively and modern and suits their Victorian era home perfectly.

Meet Charlie.
His owner, who is a wonderful client, commissioned a portrait of him as a Christmastime surprise for her husband. The piece itself is 33×33 with colors referencing the beach, foliage and his favorite blue ball. Charlie looks modern and regal; he’s mounted onto linen then framed in a crisp white shadowbox. This sweet dog resides in Port Washington, NY.

Happy New Year!
My sister and I are launching Rock Paper Sisters, an accessories company, this spring. Don’t fret – I am still felting wool but feel compelled to explore this business too! Our premiere product is the expertly hand hitched horsehair belt. We love fashion and high quality accessories and believe that discerning fashionistas will look very cool wearing our belts with their favorite jeans. What do you think? Here is a picture of many of our styles. More styles and pictures to come soon!!

Huge thank you to the great people at Mercury Framing in Boulder, CO who staged a beautiful party supporting the show of my work there (till end if September). The night was fantastic and I am so very grateful to everyone who came out to see my wall hangings and to visit with friends old and new.

I’m in orange.
